![]() NLMEc February 2008 Meeting The Consortium's February meeting was held in London on 25th February 2008. The Consortium identified the minimum system requirements for an alpha version of the framework and the foundations that need to be put in place in developing version 1.0 to enable the long term vision to be realized. The Consortium was pleased to see good progress on the Proof of Concepts which demonstrates the feasibility of the NLMEc approach to build a framework upon a comprehensive set of Modelling and Simulation standards. These demonstration confirmed that the Proof of Concept developments could be extended to serve as the NLMEc Framework.
The Consortium has been invited to present at the CDISC Interchange on 23-24 April 2008 in Copenhagen. The first draft of the Standards was circulated on 22-Feb-2008. The Consortium will review the draft and provide feedback. Any amendments will then be made and the final version will be distributed to the academics on 21-Mar-2008 prior to the Academics Advisory Board meeting on 09-Apr-2008. With regards to setting up a legal entity, the Consortium has issued a Request for Proposal and has received responses back. The group will now choose their preferred legal firm. The aim is to have a new legal structure set up by the start of Q3. It has been decided that the NLMEc website needs a fresh image with improved content. Therefore, a new website will be designed and developed in March. The new site will be ready to go live in May. Posted on 17 Apr 2008
